Bookkeeper-For-You, a new service to be offered by Phil Tanny from Links-For-You.com, is now beta testing.
“Bookkeeper-For-You will provide self employed small business people with an easy way to keep track of income and expenses for one or more projects.” Bookkeeper-For-You is not open for business yet. They are soliciting comments during a pre-launch test period.
Whilst I would have reservations about putting sensitive financial data online, from a security aspect, in retrospect, this may be no more risky than keeping it on any computer that is connected to the internet - including your own. And you probably have to do your tax filing online anyway, so it makes sense to have the data there too.
Apart from that and, as a former accountant knowing what bookkeeping costs, Phil’s proposed monthly account cost of $8 is a steal.
That he is also going to be offering data entry services, again at a very reasonable hourly rate, makes this a very interesting proposition for a sole business person who needs help at an affordable cost.
