Advice that is also often given regards starting your online ventures or choosing the niche you are going to fill, is to do what you love, but that is not as easy as it sounds:

It’s hard to find work you love; it must be, if so few do. So don’t underestimate this task. And don’t feel bad if you haven’t succeeded yet. In fact, if you admit to yourself that you’re discontented, you’re a step ahead of most people, who are still in denial.

This is one of the best discussions I have ever read on this subject, because it points out all of the traps we usually fall into during the decision process and, goes on to show you what safeguards you can use to guard against them.
