As I have been asserting for some time, this study from MarketingSherpa (Open access until March 2nd) offers proof that an awful lot more people - roughly 50 million regular RSS users - are using RSS without even knowing it.
MarketingSherpa also come to another conclusion that I did, that users tend to think of your content as being part of the means or reader they use to read it. So, for instance, if they add your feed to their MyYahoo page, they think about reading “Yahoo” in general, not you in particular.
There are also some very useful tips on how to get more people to notice and subscribe to your feed.
