You don’t need to be an academic student to do serious research. If you’re collating background information to write articles on your chosen niche topic, it will certainly help if that data is true and accurate. But, as Lorelle VanFossen rightly says, “Not everything you find on Google is the truth, nor is it often even close to accurate. It is often conjecture, assumption, and usually opinion rather than fact. Searching for facts often means searching outside of the normal search engines.” But where exactly? Lorelle’s post and the one she references provide many resources.
