Saturdays, when I was much younger, was always a day for going shopping for a new dress for Saturday night. And, we always shopped in pairs, to get a second opinion.
Some things never change, but now the phenomenon has been “techyfied” and no longer requires that both the shopper and the friend leave the comfort of their own computers.
“… an in-store three-paneled “magic mirror” can send photos or videos of shoppers in outfit options to their MySpace page or to friend’s emails and mobiles for instant opinions.”
Think of the applications, not only for when the friend is too lazy or too busy to accompany you, but also for when the friend is on the other side of the country or even world.
The idea has obvious implications in retail apparel and in bricks and mortar stores, but I think the concept of getting a friend’s opinion (what we really mean here is reassurance) could be worked into any online site with the relevant tools.

I love the blog that you have. I was wondering if you would link my blog to yours and in return I would do the same for your blog. If you want to, my site name is American Legends and the URL is:
www.americanlegends.blogspot.com
If you want to do this just go to my blog and in one of the comments just write your blog name and the URL and I will add it to my site.
Thanks,
David
LOL! It looks like you made your own link. OK, you get marks for flattering me, but you get marks taken away for wanting me to link to a blog that is not striktly relevant and further marks taken off, because this is not a relevant comment to the post.
Since yours is, however, not offensive, I’m leaving it up as an example of “how NOT to comment on blogs”.
