Free Advertising Resource: ScreenTag

This probably won't set the world on fire and is an update on a viral advertising concept that has been around almost since the dawn of the internet, where your ad appears on the site you promote and the sites of people you refer, free.

As well as the free text ads, they have added randomly displayed box and banner ads into the network mix, which display at the top of pages. These are very low cost anyway (75 cents and $1.99), but you get $5.00 to try it out.
