Linkreferral add new features

Friday, February 9, 2007 | Permalink |

More absolutely free advertising for you from Linkreferral, probably one of the first sites to introduce anything resembling "social networking" into internet marketing. Linkreferral, I notice, have added a couple of new features lately.

The first is that members can now choose whether specific reviews of their site will be made available to the public or kept private. Yes, this could be used to "cherry pick" only the best, but it's useful where reviews are irrelevant/inaccurate or simply not appropriate for public viewing.

The second new feature, which I think will help to encourage the "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" nature of giving and receiving reviews through the site, is that Linkreferral have added an automatic code generator so that you can include some of the reviews to your own site.

As it is "hard code" (not dynamic), this also adds content to your site and, those with HTML skills will be able to quickly adjust the look to make it fit into an existing design. It also subtly promotes Linkreferral with your referral link.
