AdesBlog points to a new way for advertisers to buy links on blogs, or for blog publishers to earn income for including links within blog posts, via Contextual Links @ V7N.
Unlike some services, where bloggers might be required to shill write about the site or product they link to (often, whether they’ve used it or not), V7N say, “publishers are not required to or encouraged to editorialize about advertisers. You cannot buy opinions; you can buy links.”
The inevitable question of disclosure will come up, but this same kind of “in context” link with a specified anchor text could have been inserted automatically by an ad network, only this potentially has its benefits in that you buy a static, permanent link, not a dynamic one.
