Will Yahoo! Pipes Increase Content Theft?

Quick-we need lottery balls and horsies to clear him out!

(Was I the only person who suddenly thought of Sen. Ted Stevens and his “series of tubes” - watch the video - when Yahoo! launched Yahoo! Pipes recently? Oh, I was. :-)

Getting to the point … There have been things that allow you to combine RSS feeds before. There have also been services that can filter them, but nothing that allows you the same ability to mix, match and shake as Yahoo! Pipes does.

Now, I will admit that my first attempts with it have been elementary (actually, I think I got a hairball caught in my first tube pipe), but as Rok Hrastnik says, “I strongly believe that Yahoo! Pipes is a dream come true for marketers.”

However, he also sees dangers in making this much power available to the wrong people. What do you think?
