Eric Giguere writes a post full of ideas of what you can do with any spare domains you’ve got hanging around that you haven’t yet developed a site for. As well as the ten ideas in the original post, he also lays out step-by-step instructions for another way to monetize an idle domain, using Amazon aStores. Don’t forget that Amazon aren’t the only people to offer “instant stores”, so you are bound to find something that you can slap on any domain that actually looks like it was made for the domain name and must surely be more potentially profitable than having nothing there.
