Easy Way to Remind Subscribers of Their Opt-in

Wednesday, March 7, 2007 | Permalink |

Subscribers, it has to be said, can tend to be “forgetful”, so it definitely can’t harm to remind people that they they did opt-in to your emails, but the problem with most “this is not spam, you requested this” notices is that nobody believes them and they sound like spam. Most spam filters will likely agree too, so including such a message is probably one of the best ways to NOT have your email delivered.

On the other hand, including detailed factual information that not only reminds people that they did opt-in, but also when exactly and where (at what page and from what IP address), makes it a lot more believable and much more likely to prevent forgetful and accidental spam reports.

AWeber show you how you can automatically include such information in all your emails, using their service and, it is one of their most valuable features in my opinion.
