A whole “mess” of kittens for your viewing pleasure, plus here are three of the most “fashionably” marked kittens I’ve ever seen. And brace yourselves for a whole marmalade kitten gang. They’re adorable!
Whenever I see whole bunches of kittens though, my feelings are mixed: they are as cute as heck, but I also feel a certain amount of sadness.
There’s not much you can do when cats arrive already pregnant, as was my own experience too some years ago. I learned so much from it too, but what’s the chance of two sister cats who gave birth on the same night and who are nursing their kittens together? It’s heart melting!
But if only mummy had been “fixed” there would be less kittens in need of good homes and less left wandering around, looking for food - like the thin tabby who has just been to our house, setting my lot - all who have been rescued from a life on the streets themselves - on hissing alert on windowsills and making the dog bark at the “intrusion.”
And all I feel is powerless to do more.

And isn’t that the truth. I”ve rescued my share of pregnant cats over the years.
Yep, it’s been a wonderful experience, as was the time I just got the motherless kittens to bottle feed - my dog helped take care of the other ends - but it’s just so needless.
