Monday’s Leftovers: Guinness Stew

Tuesday, March 13, 2007 | Permalink |

Well, yes, I know it’s Tuesday already, but it takes time for one of me to keep up with my reading - besides, I like to eat now and again too!

Yumsugar post a mouthwatering photo of their Guinness Beef Stew and make the point “… since the flavors have had some time to hang out and meld more, I know the stew is going to take even better today.”

This is so often the case with stews, casseroles and such. We really shouldn’t bemoan the fact that cooking for one creates leftovers, because they’re often better on the second (and subsequent) days.
