Well, I did promise to find some “interspecies friendships” when Jackie commented the other day that some cats befriend rats. So, here are those I could find: a surprising number of ratty meets catty pals.

* Don and Smudge
* Scooter and Squeexter
* Merlin and Greedy
* Kisses when cat meets rat
* Can’t We Be Friends?
And this one, though I’m not 100% certain if the way that rat has jumped on the kitten is exactly for “primetime viewing”!
You know something, we really can learn a lot from animals.
Not only do they make friends with other species, but did you ever meet a white cat that doesn’t befriend black cats, or vice versa, or ginger ones that won’t mix with tabbies, etc? Makes you think, no?
