OnlyWire, which is heralded as “The Only BookMarklet You’ll Ever Need!” Why? Well, by now you are probably using a whole heap of social bookmarking sites, like del.icio.us, Furl, Spurl, et al.
So, what do you do when you want to post the same link to more than one of your online bookmark collections? Nah, I didn’t think you’d bother either, ‘coz it’s just too much trouble. Or it was, until OnlyWire made it possible. Now you just set up which services you belong to and want to submit your bookmarks to, inside your account, then, using their bookmarklet, you can save it to multiple services in one action.
If you use Blogger and want to use this in your blog posts for other users to bookmark them, here’s how to amend the link. OnlyWire give this as:
http://www.onlywire.com/submit?u=URL&t=TITLE&tags=TAG1 TAG2
First, you won’t want “&tags=TAG1 TAG2“, because tags will differ from post to post and, folk will apply their own folksonomy (they will decide what they want it tagged as) when they bookmark your post.
Then you simply replace URL with <$BlogItemPermalinkURL$>
And replace TITLE with <$BlogItemTitle$>
So, you end up with:
http://www.onlywire.com/submit?u=
&t=
Which you can use to replace the link in the code, from here.
