“Symphony of Bullets” is episode seven in a series of short - but nevertheless impacting - videos of the real lives of a group of brave young men in Iraq, who are just trying to go about their business. You know, go to school, play their music, watch football on TV …
Stuff we take for granted, of course, but which are a little difficult when you live in a war zone, with bullets flying around your ears.

Telling, saddening, but also hopeful, I feel, is that occasional comments on the videos from US viewers have appeared to include some element of surprise that the guys and their homes and family lives seemed familiar, i.e. “they are just like us”. Well, of course they are, but, perhaps, as more people see these videos, more will realize that we are all humans the same and, respect for them as people will grow.
And, maybe as more people see this reality, they might stop believing the utter crap put about by those people who attempt to delude themselves and everyone else that everything is going well!
