Right to Protest, Right to Freedom of Speech. Right to Privacy. Right not to be detained without charge, Innocent Until Proven Guilty. Prohibition from Torture. TAKING LIBERTIES will reveal how these six central pillars of liberty have been systematically destroyed by New Labour.

What is more important to grasp though, is that “the drip-drip-drip of news items about attacks on our hard-won personal freedoms is easily lost in the chatter of everyday life“. This is the missing link that explains why people don’t seem to be concerned enough and don’t appear to do anything to reclaim what they probably, mistakenly, believe are still their rights.
