Clever cat blogger reveals secret help link that no human had found. Cat bloggers, constantly the brunt of blogging jokes and certainly never taken seriously, this cat, Rocky, CEO (Cat Executive Officer) of Artsy Catsy, was recently released from AbuBloggerGhraib prison, after having been falsely accused of running a spam blog.
Now, once you see the blog, the first realization you will come to is that there is absolutely no sense or logic to it. Not all blogs accused of spam really are “splogs”. Or as one commenter said, “Those Blogger Spam Preventing Robots wouldn’t know a spam blog if it bit ‘em on the bee-hind.”
Fancy accusing an defenseless cat!
ArtsyCatsy was set up to promote a small business venture, marketing primarily arts and crafts made by the humans who serve Rocky, but the writing is clever, creative and often funny. It’s a lot farther from the definition of a spam blog “nonsensical … repetitive” than many other marketing blogs.
There are lessons to be learned over “finding your voice” and from the amount of following it has, revealed by the number of supporting comments.
Anyway, while Rocky was incarcerated, he managed to blog from his cell at this undercover blog and, the secret link he uncovered was the (now hidden - you will not find this link via Blogger help) link where Blogger users can email support (don’t blame me if it disappears!)
(Blogger currently - still - has “issues” with updating classic templates. In fact, if you use a classic template (which anyone hosting a Blogger blog on their own hosting account - essential if wish to retain any control - has to use), with Adsense on it, you CAN’T update the template. The only way to update is to take the ads off! This has been going on for days and days now and, help just ain’t happening. Wordpress, here I come …)
