Yes, I know there is nothing terribly outstanding about the photo, but it is most unusual for Kitty (right) to snuggle up with the other pair (Mico and Betty).
The fact that they have and that they are all snuggled together (Balu too now) on the warmest part of my bed where the “lecky blankie” keeps it snug-as-a-bug means, of course, that the weather here has “snapped cold.”
Not a surprising thing for the weather to do in early December, but here, for those unaware, is Tenerife, the “Island of Eternal Spring” in the Spanish Canary Islands, about 100 miles from Morocco off the north west coast of Africa.
(For that reason, I’m never really quite sure whether to cat-e-gorize this lot as European shorthairs or some sort of African wildcats. The latter, probably!
Anyway, “cold” - and I too have added layers of a woolly cardigan and a padded, microfiber waistcoat - indoors today is 21 C nearly 70 F. ![]()
