Conformity At Its Funniest

To bring a little perspective to the seemingly recent “stupidity crisis” in the world, here is a candid camera clip from the 1950s, which shows just what a bunch of sheep humans were then (and have been for a very long time indeed.)

But, yes, I too “… wonder what would have happened if someone had maintained his individuality. Would they have made him or her feel as if there were something wrong with them?” From experience, I think they would.

We probably can’t help The Flock Mentality: “Scientists at the University of Leeds believe they may have found the answer, with research that shows that humans flock like sheep and birds, subconsciously following a minority of individuals.” Human beings, following the herd for 4 to 5 million years! :)

But, if sheeple wander around in flocks and they follow that mythical 5%, imagine what humanity could do if the 5% they were following were well-balanced, educated, reasonable, grown-up people capable of using common sense.

(Don’t worry, even supposedly intelligent animals behave like herds too.)
