Would you find this church (cult or sect) whose mentally infirm leaders have declared themselves happy about the earthquake in China, having published this revolting diatribe. May “what goes around, comes around,” work for them.
And, let me not hear another whine about gas (petrol) prices after reading this story (via World Gone Mad.) A car dealer somewhere out in the midwest (perhaps not surprisingly) has decided to give away handguns with new vehicles.
Or at least a choice between a gun or a $250 (£125) gas card.
Now I live in an area where hunting is normal, so I get that, but I don’t get the handgun fetish, because it’s an entirely different animal / mindset.
Anyway, the telling / worrying news is that, “every buyer so far “except one guy from Canada and one old guy” chose the gun, rather than the gas card.”
That seems to declare their priorities quite clearly, doesn’t it?
I will be the first to admit that there’s good and bad in all nationalities, but we are seeing more reports of such ignorant, intolerant and extremist attitudes and, it does seem like America is leading the way … right back to the Dark Ages.

Thanks for the link, Pamela. I found this story nowhere in the US press, at least online. But the BBC recognized the uniqueness of it. It is a sign of the times and a further indication of the decay of American society. Ignorance, intolerance, extremist..you chose the proper words to describe it. And there are many more. I’m glad I’m watching the fall of the empire from afar.
Oh, the same rot is setting in, in my country (Britain) too and I’d love to be able to continue to watch that from afar. Mind you, Spain looks like it might be managing to do worse.
