See, I said there was good an bad in all and, if the Redneck element in the United States is setting a particularly bad example, then what this reveals about some people’s attitudes in Spain should cause many people here to wince.
South of Watford reports on a fake blog that, over the last couple of years, has “invented particularly venomous insults for some of the victims of the Madrid bombings, they defended genocide, praised the use of guns rather than just the possession, claimed homosexuality is an illness and all sorts of other wild ideas.”
Apparently, “No objections were raised to the content of the blog, and those behind it seem to have reached the conclusion that there is no position too extreme for these people.” [Readers and others who didn’t know it was fake.]
