Cosmos is a personal blog, or more accurately, a mishmash of unrelated ramblings, by former accountant, recovering journalist and serial cat collector, Pamela Heywood, an erstwhile expat, British by birth and who lived on the island of Tenerife for 16 years. Currently visiting the equally “foreign” Costa del Geriatrico in the UK, she is fluent in three languages; English, Spanish and Rubbish. This blog is written in the latter.
If you are looking for something useful to do or read, you probably won’t find it here and, after many years of only building sites that had to have some kind of defined purpose, the feeling that generates is so liberating!
This blog will probably turn into is a DIY therapy session, but that may not be a bad thing. Isn’t that what personal blogs are supposed to be?
There is no set schedule: I refuse to set myself up for guilt and failure against any self-imposed deadlines. There is no set theme either, so you might find me commenting on current events, talking about ones that happened more years ago than I wish to admit, or scribbling notes about wildly varied interests or everyday life, my adopted cat family, comments on the weather or even, that blog chestnut, what’s for dinner.
